The engineering logic that unites satellite buses, custom payloads, and orbital geometry into one proposed system, defined before any hardware is built.
Each subsystem is specified as a proposed module, designed to integrate with the others through a common bus and mission plan.
Bus
CubeSats and modular buses
Standardised CubeSat form factors with interchangeable modules for power, attitude control, and thermal management, sized for proposed mission classes.
Payload
Custom payloads
Payload bays designed around specific observation or sensing goals, with mass, power, and data budgets defined at the architecture stage.
Network
Communications and Earth observation
High-throughput downlink planned for data return, paired with multi-spectral Earth observation sensors and constellation coverage models.
Constellation operations
Coordinated control, planned in advance
Constellations are modelled as a single system. Mission planning algorithms are proposed to coordinate orbital phasing and synchronisation so that each satellite's observations complement the others.
Real-time planning is envisioned as a loop that re-evaluates coverage, data windows, and payload priorities against the orbital state. None of this is yet operational; it is the design target this division is working toward.
